It was the year 1939 when this teenage country crooner graced the stage of the famed Georgiana Opry House. With his guitar in hand and a heart full of passion, Hank enchanted the audience with his legendary voice and heartfelt country-music lyrics. The friendly atmosphere of the Opry House welcomed this rising star, providing him a platform to showcase his incredible talent. Little did anyone know that this young boy would go on to become a country music legend, leaving an indelible mark on the world of music. As the home of the Hank Williams Sr. Talent Showcase, we work towards the same goal with our local youth and unsung talent in the community.
