Ready your cowboy boots and grab your ten-gallon hat because the Hank Williams Sr. Talent Showcase is back in town! Nestled in the heart of Georgiana, Alabama, the renowned Georgiana Opry House is gearing up to host this incredible live competition for vocalists between the ages of 16 and 21. Bursting with raw talent and untamed ambition, these young performers are vying for their chance to be the next big thing!

Georgiana Opry House's talent showcase reverberates Hank's enduring legacy, from his teenage Georgiana performances to his illustrious globally-recognized career. Hank Williams Sr. stands as an icon, a man whose velvety voice and heart-grabbing lyrics began shaping the very soul of country music, directly from the stage at the Georgiana Opry House. Hank Williams Sr. paved the way, inspiring countless artists and setting the bar for those to follow in his path.

1st Place Grand Prize : Prize Package Worth $10,000!!
Winner will be brought to Nashville to work with one of the best producers at Pat Holt Productions right in the heart of music city Nashville! Winner will record with 5 of the best studio musicians, receive background vocals, engineer and producer in Pat Holt. Pat has recorded legends for over 40 years and is married to the amazing and talented Irlene Mandrell. Once your single is finished Grace Records Nashville LLC will provide digital dropdowns to all platforms and to major radio as well as providing the winner with a cover story in 1 of 3 prestigious music Magazines...Christian Voice, Cashbox and or Cross Country USA Magazine . Plus Georgiana Opry will provide $2500 for travel expenses to help with hotel expenses and fuel, food, etc. Total estimated package value $10,000

The Hank Williams Sr Talent Showcase is a regional talent competition that is held in Georgiana, AL, Hank Williams Sr's boyhood hometown. When Hank was just 16 years old, he and his band, The Drifting Cowboys played at what was once known as The GA-ANA Theater.
Now, Georgiana Opry House honors Hank with our 2nd Annual competition where contestants will be judged based on their vocal talent. We invite you to come and show us what you've got!
It's one of our goals at The Georgiana Opry House is to recognize young artists in our region and it is our hope that this event will bring attention to the existing arts community and promote engagement with cultural organizations in Alabama.
Anyone can enter, who is a legal resident of the United States. Due to our competition highlighting the young talent in this regional vocal showcase, you must be born between Midnight, May 11, 2003. and Midnight, May 4, 2008. (Contest is open to everyone 16-21 years old.) Click for Applicants under 18 yrs old.

Accompaniment for each Singer is allowed as either singing with an instrumental accompaniment from a karaoke/music file/track or the contestant may play their own acoustic instrument to accompany themselves.
A piano will be available for the live competition.
TO Enter, the official application will be available once your entry fee is paid.
The competition is a two tier process
* The first stage is submission of a video demo of you singing your selection. The video submission deadline is Friday March 31, 2024.
* The second stage is a 'Live' performance in front of celebrity judges.
contestants performing any genre, can enter. Pick a song that highlights your artistic and musical style and demonstrates the best qualities of your voice.
If you are selected as a finalist , to participate in the live competition, you must choose material ‘appropriate for everyone.' We are a family oriented venue and we are committed to producing a show for all ages.
